How does a natural spring work?
I just visited the Ichetucknee River Natural Park in Florida. I am curious how does a natural spring work? Where is the water coming from why was it so cold??? I cannot locate any information online and I%26#039;m just curious.

Rain water seeps into the ground and accumulates in caves or other spaces in the rock. A spring is an opening from a cave that has a water level higher than the level of the spring, so the water is forced out through it. The water is cold because it%26#039;s stored deep enough underground that it isn%26#039;t warmed by the sun. Most deep caves have a temperature of around 60 degrees fahrenheit.
